Big Star

In the heart of the iconic Wrigleyville neighborhood, the restaurant Big Star provides a bourbon and beer-focused atmosphere for all to enjoy. The two-story restaurant seeks to provide a place to gather across the street from Wrigley Field while still maintaining the connection to energetic feeling of the ballpark. Various seating options are provided for customers to congregate as the please, whether it is huddled up to the bar or seated comfortably in a booth. In order to keep the two floors of the restaurant connected, an open stair was designed to allow for sound to travel between stories. Yellow tile also lines the stair to act as a way finding element within the space.
