Half Acre Beer Co.

Located in the Chicago neighborhood of Bowmanville, Half Acre Beer Co. was an adaptive reuse of an existing brewery into a flagship brewing facility with a restaurant, event space and offices. The existing bow trusses allowed for a large open plan in the warehouse and plenty of space for brewing equipment. A series of skylights let natural light into the warehouse, creating a space which can operate with minimal artificial light during daytime operations.
