Seminary Residence

This deconversion of an existing two-flat into a new single-family home looks to build upon its historical roots to bring it into the 21st century. The home utilizes traditional trim moldings and finish details to harken back to its original state but applies modern colors and materials to create beautiful spaces that allow for light to fill the interior. An addition and garage were added to the rear of the building and were designed with modern day aesthetics: clean lines and simple shapes. Overall, the project blends the old and new to allow a family to bring new life into this historical home.
