Jessie LaFree AIA, NCARB | Director
Jessie grew up in Indiana and attended Ball State University’s architecture program. In 2011 she moved to Chicago to attend the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where she received her Master of Architecture. She has lived in Chicago since and believes that it is truly one of the greatest cities in the world, especially when it comes to architecture.
Professionally, Jessie is very involved with both AIA and NCARB. She is co-chair for the Bridge mentorship program for young professionals with AIA Chicago and currently serves on the Higher Education Advising Team for AIA National. She is also a lecturer and architectural licensing advisor for at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
Outside of the office, Jessie competes as an amateur boxer and enjoys traveling, rock climbing, surfing, and horseback riding - anything with a good dose of adrenaline.
