The Warbler

The overall concept for The Warbler was inspired by the 19th century German-English agricultural community that developed Lincoln Square as well as the sociable nature of the chatty bird that is the restaurant’s namesake. Our desire is to create a comfortable space for locals to gather over a few beers or a delicious meal.

Throughout the restaurant, we aim to create different spaces for guests to have their own unique experience, similar to the varied menu offerings. A couple can have an intimate experience sharing small plates and bird-themed cocktails at the 2-top booths in the dining area while a larger group can huddle around the quartzite bar just for drinks. The private dining room at the back of the restaurant stands on its own with black and white cement tile flooring and lime-washed brick walls facing glass doors extending to the patio, a perfect spot for the warmer months.

The Warbler features a palette of earthy neutrals, highlighted with natural light from the windows and lime-washed brick throughout the space. Through our material selections of glass and ceramic tile, custom metal screens, graphic murals, and groupings of plants we play with the idea of how dappled sunlight appears through tree branches. The custom designed booths mimic the feeling of worn-in leather furniture while the heathered gray banquette features arms, making the corners a truly special spot to unwind.
