Emma Cline Associate
01/ My first job was
A greeter at Eat N' Park (the pinnacle of fine dining in western Pennsylvania). Started right after I turned 15.
02/ Nobody knows I
Am a borderline professional rock-paper-scissors player. I once won a competition against 300 people. It's a game of psychology.
03/ If I could meet any person
Leonardo da Vinci. I secretly want to be a Renaissance (wo)man.
04/ WHAT I LOVE ABOUT SPACE
The intelligence and creativity in each project which stems from every individual's willingness to never stop teaching and learning.
Emma's architectural interests lie in phenomenology and sustainability. A sucker for a good story, she believes that every individual has a unique perspective and that good design strives to emphasize these perspectives by creating interesting and personal experiences while also utilizing smart decision making.
A native Pittsburgher, Emma earned her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign with a minor in Honors Environmental Studies, and her Master of Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology here in Chicago.
